Vi Parsons
has a great interest in family history. After her first grandchild was born, she became seriously interested in genealogy. That interest propelled her to complete the Beginning Genealogy course from Brigham Young University and the American Genealogy Course from the National Genealogical Society.
Her public genealogical accomplishments include: Instructor and lecturer for Northern California Genealogical & Historical groups; Newsletter Editor and Past First Vice President and Education Director for the Roseville Genealogical Society; and, Past President, Editor and Librarian for the Dragoo Family Association.
Among her personal genealogical accomplishments, she has successfully documented her maternal ancestors from the early 1600's in France and England. Using her research, she published Jacob Dragoo and our Susanna Bright Side, a family history book of her ancestors in the United States. He most recent genelaogy book is Dragoo Cemetery, Marion County, West Virginia.
Miracle on the Mexico Border, an inspirational story of faith and perserverence was published in Chicken Soup for the Soul, Twins & More.
Double Take, a book of short stories was a shared effort with her twin.

Violet Carr Moore
enjoyed family genealogical research for many years. She traveled to several states to interview distant relatives and walked through many cemeteries, both alone and with her twin, before abandoning genealogical activities to concentrate on writing. She joined with her twin in co-authoring Double Take in 2005 before publishing her first individual book, In the Right Place, in 2007. She has been a featured devotional writer on an inspirational website since 2004. Those contributions inspired, Moments of Meditation, a book of devotionals published in 2008.
Little White Lies, was published in the Las Positas College (LPC) anthology, Through the Eyes of Many. In 2009, The Search, a fictional story was published in Escape, the 2009 LPC anthology. Most recently, she writes Haiku themed poetry for Bay Area newspapers. She has placed in the winners or runner-ups in every monthly contest.
Vi is Vice President of the California Writers Club, Tri-Valley Chapter; past Vice President of the Dragoo Family Association; member of the Tri-Valley National Day of Prayer Committee; and a contributing devotional and Bible study writer to More to Life ladies ministries website.  She volunteers at the Pleasanton Senior Center.
